Privacy Policy

Last updated 20 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data Eden Tally collects when you use our estimating tool and website, why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. Eden Tally is a digital subscription service; we do not sell physical goods or provide certified professional advice.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is EDEN CONSULTING SOLUTIONS LIMITED, registered office 8 Geddes Avenue, Perth, Scotland, PH1 0AF. You can reach our privacy contact at support@edenconsultsool.shop or +44 7801134790. Because we operate an online service available internationally, we act as a controller for account and billing data and as a processor for the project content you submit to the estimator.

2. What we collect

  • Account data — email address and authentication details when you create an account or subscribe.
  • Subscription & billing data — plan, billing interval, subscription status and payment metadata (see the payment boundary below). We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Project inputs — the brief you type, project type, area, spec level, trades, budget cap and any dimension text you upload to produce an estimate.
  • Generated results — the cost breakdowns, materials takeoffs, boards, reels and Budget Packs the tool produces from your inputs.
  • Support & lead data — your name, email, message and any details you send through the contact or “email me this pack” forms.
  • Technical & usage data — IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and essential cookies needed to run the site.

3. Where the data comes from (collection sources)

We collect personal data from four sources only:

  • Directly from you — the project brief, area, spec level, trades and budget you type into the estimator; any dimension text or sketch you upload; your email in the “email me this pack” form; your name, email, topic and message in the contact form; and the billing details you enter at checkout.
  • Automatically from your device — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and essential cookies, collected by your browser and our hosting provider when you load the site.
  • From our payment processor — after you subscribe, Stripe returns your subscription status, plan, billing interval, card brand, last four digits and billing country. Stripe never sends us your full card number.
  • Generated by the service itself — the cost breakdowns, takeoffs, boards, reels and Budget Packs the tool produces from the inputs you supply.

We do not buy personal data, scrape it, or obtain it from third-party data brokers, advertising networks or social platforms, and we do not build profiles about you from outside sources.

4. Why we use it and our legal bases

  • To provide the estimator and produce your results — performance of our contract with you.
  • To run subscriptions, billing and receipts — performance of a contract and compliance with tax/accounting law.
  • To answer support and respond to leads — our legitimate interest in helping and following up with you, and your consent where you contact us.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest in a safe, working service.
  • To send service or transactional messages — performance of contract. We only send marketing with your consent, and you can opt out anytime.

5. Payment provider boundary

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you check out, your card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted, PCI-DSS compliant pages — your full card number never reaches or is stored on our servers. We receive only limited metadata such as the subscription status, the last four digits, card brand and billing country. Stripe processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

6. How we handle your inputs, results and uploads (AI specifics)

6.1 Your inputs

Each user input — the written brief, project type, area, spec level, trades in scope, budget cap and who does the work — is used only to compute your estimate and render your boards, reel and exports. The core cost, quantity, contingency and sequencing calculations run on our own servers from the values you enter; they are deterministic and are not sent to any third-party language model.

6.2 Your uploads

If you upload a sketch or dimension list, we read it for measurements and text only. We do not create photorealistic renders, before-and-after images or any visual reconstruction of your property. Uploads are stored on our managed storage provider, are never made public, and are cleared on a rolling 30-day basis unless you explicitly save them to your account.

6.3 Your generated results

Each generated output, including cost breakdowns, materials takeoffs, boards, reels and Budget Packs, is stored against your account so you can return to a project, and are yours under our Content License. Board images and reels are rendered in your own browser from your figures; Budget Pack PDFs are assembled on our server and streamed straight to your download.

6.4 AI provider and generation provider processing

Where a server-side image or video asset needs to be generated, only the numeric and textual figures required to draw that asset are sent to our generation provider. We do not transmit your name, email, account identifier, IP address, billing details or uploaded files to that provider, so it cannot associate a request with you. The provider processes the request transiently under contract, acts as our processor, is not permitted to use the content for its own purposes, and returns the rendered asset to us.

6.5 No model training, no sale

We do not use your inputs, uploads or generated results to train, fine-tune or improve any AI or machine-learning model — ours or anyone else’s — and we do not sell or license them to third parties. Our providers are contractually barred from doing so with data we send them.

6.6 Deleting your data

You can delete a saved project or upload from your account at any time, or email support@edenconsultsool.shop to request deletion of your inputs, generated results and account. Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days, subject to records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes.

7. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with processors that help us run the service, under contract and only as needed:

  • Hosting & delivery — our cloud hosting provider serves the site and stores project data.
  • Payments — Stripe, for subscriptions, invoices and refunds.
  • Database & storage — our managed database/storage provider holds accounts, subscription records and saved projects and leads.
  • Email — our email provider delivers transactional and support messages.
  • Image/video generation — where a board or reel is produced server-side, a generation provider processes only the numeric/text figures needed to render it, never your identity.

We may also disclose data where legally required, or to protect our rights, users or the security of the service. We do not sell your personal data.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the UK, the EEA and the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.

9. How long we keep it

  • Account and subscription records — for the life of your account and up to 6 years afterwards for tax and legal reasons.
  • Project inputs and generated results — while your account is active; cached uploads cleared on a 30-day rolling basis.
  • Support and lead messages — up to 24 months after last contact.
  • Essential/security logs — a short rolling period for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

10. Your rights (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)

  • Access, rectification and erasure of your data.
  • Restriction of, and objection to, certain processing.
  • Data portability of the data you provided.
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
  • The right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

To exercise any right, email support@edenconsultsool.shop. We respond within one month.

11. Your rights (CCPA / US residents) — Do Not Sell or Share

If you are a California or US resident, you may request to know, delete or correct the personal information we hold, and you have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. To make a request, email support@edenconsultsool.shop.

12. Automated decisions and children

The estimator generates figures from the values you enter; it does not make legal or similarly significant automated decisions about you. Eden Tally is for adults planning building work. You must be at least 13 to use the service; users aged 13–17 must have verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and we delete it if discovered.

13. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will notify you and any regulator of a qualifying breach as required by law.

14. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to run the site and keep you signed in. Any analytics we use is limited and privacy-respecting. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.

15. Contact and complaints
